ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Global impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic required the venue and entertainment industry to revisit and re-ensure that everyone’s safety is at the forefront of how venue’s operate.

We, the SM Mall of Asia Arena, have created the ARENA SAFE program that outlines our continuous commitment towards the safety of our guests, workers, and community. We have intently monitored the Covid-19 Situation and followed the IATF / DOH / DTI / DOLE Pasay LGU regulations to adjust our program to adhere to measures being implemented.

Along with consultations with various experts in the field of infectious diseases, safety, health services, engineering, we have revitalized our operations to ensure your safety. These improvements include use of technology, mandatory use of facemask, physical distancing measures, fully vaccinated manpower, sanitation and disinfection routines, as well as promotion of increased hygiene practices that should help us charter the next normal.

We are confident that with the ARENA SAFE program and your support, we will be able to navigate the Next Normal for events.

ABOUT THE VENUE

VENUE IMPROVEMENTS

Intensified Cleaning and Disinfection - As part of the improvement, the venue institutionalized a dedicated sanitation team to clean, disinfect and sanitize the venue before and after each event. During events, high-touched areas are being disinfected 30 minutes to one (1) hour.

Air Handling - The venue utilizes the latest HEPA air filtration system and is equipped with an air exchange system that allows the venue to change in bowl air before and after each event, reducing air re-circulation and increasing the amount of fresh air coming in.

Venue accreditation and Certification - In adherence to the Safety Seal program of the government, SM Mall of Asia Arena was granted Safety Seal accreditation in accordance to the prevailing health standards to operate a mass gathering venue.​

Our employees and team members are 100% vaccinated and boosted as well as undergone BOSH and safety officer training.

HOW OFTEN IS THE VENUE CLEANED AND SANITIZED?

As part of the SM Mall of Asia Arena’s Safety Seal protocol, the venue is cleaned, disinfected and sanitized before and after each event.

IS THE VENUE HAS ADEQUATE AIR EXCHANGE IN INDOOR SPACES?

ARE YOU ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE VENUE AND COME BACK?

No re-entry policy is being implemented.

ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED INSIDE THE VENUE?

Non-professional, non-flash, still photography is permitted at most events. Video and audio recording is prohibited.

WHERE CAN YOU SMOKE INSIDE THE VENUE?

SM Mall of Asia Arena is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is not permitted in the arena at any time.

HOW DO YOU LEARN ABOUT THE SM MALL OF ASIA ARENA COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES?

All patrons will find all of the Arena’s protocols, guidelines and safety reminders across our social media channels as well as signages and markings throughout the venue. Social distancing markers are in place to manage entry/exit flow and queues at all times.
